Terrific 3's

Terrific 3's at Community Christian School

Terrific 3’s (3 & 4 year olds):

Our philosophy for the Terrific 3’s curriculum is that children bear God’s image and learn best through play.  With that in mind, the toys, activities, books, songs, projects and sometimes even the snacks are strategically planned to help children learn about the world God has made, while allowing enough freedom for children be children.

Many skills are developed using the natural curiosity of a three and/or four-year-olds.  Children are given opportunities to explore and experiment so that they can learn about many new things and relate them to the experiences, knowledge and skills they have already developed. Children not only have fun learning every day, they love to learn more and more.  Your child will be prepared for future successes in Pre Kindergarten and beyond.

Terrific 3’s goals are:

To learn that God loves us, and we are His special creation

To learn to respect and love God, others and ourselves

To develop a sense of wonder in God’s world

To learn self-help skills to foster independence

To learn to follow directions and take turns

To introduce the children to school in a fun, safe, and caring setting

All children must be 3 years old by September 1 and potty trained in order to be considered in this program.

Our Terrific 3’s program runs 2 days a week on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
