Hello parents and 7th and 8th graders.  I hope everyone had a good summer and is ready to get back into the school routine!  I had  a relaxing and wonderful summer, and here I am at school working hard getting ready for the 7th and 8th graders first day next week!

There are not any big surprises at CCS that students will return to.  Some cosmetic things in the building are the new drinking fountains in the foyer, new upper grade classroom windows, and a new look in the lower grade hallway by their coat racks.  Grades 5-8 have new English books too.

Mr. Close and I will be teaching the same subjects - Mr.Close will again teach Algebra and 7-8 Science.  I will teach 5-6 American History and 6th grade math.  Mrs. Van Someren will teach the 7th grade math (Transition). 

Remember that Open House is Monday from noon 'til six.  See you then or on Tuesday morning. Have a super weekend!
