 Shelly Ash - CCS School Board Treasurer

Shelly Ash is starting her third year on the CCS School Board.  Shelly holds the position of CCS Board Treasurer.

Shelly graduated from CCS in 1986 and Milaca High School in 1990.  She has a B.A. in Communication, Dordt College, 1994.   She also has a B.S. Secondary Education, Majors in English & Speech, Minor in Human Relations, SCSU December 1999.  She received her M.A. Educational Leadership from Walden University in June 2007.

Shelly is currently an English Teacher at Princeton High School.  

Shelly and her family attend the Pease Church.

Shelly is married to Mike Ash, who runs In-Law Construction, LLC with his brother-in-law. Dylan is in 5th grade, Gracie is in 2nd grade, and Jaegar is in 5K. They also have a daughter in heaven, Riley Jade, who was stillborn in April 2001. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Shelly has this to say about CCS, "This is just the best place for our kids to be right now. I am so grateful for my own experience at CCS and feel so blessed to be a part of the CCS family; this time as a parent."

  

 

 

 

 

 

Amy Boldt - CCS School Board President

Amy is serving her third year on the CCS School Board.  Amy holds the position of Board President.

Amy attended Gustavus Adolphus College for two years and then transferred to St Cloud State University where she completed a Bachelor's of Science degree in Communication Disorders. Amy is pursuing her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and interning this year in Elk River.

In the past, Amy worked with Integrated Development Services based out of Madison, WI working with children with Autism in their homes. Amy spent her time at IDS developing individualized treatment plans for children with Autism, training therapists, supervising therapists, managing the Eau Claire/Hudson area, playing with kids, and providing consultation for families. Amy transitioned from this work this past August to head to Bethel Seminary for graduate work. 

Amy and her family attend the Christian Reformed Church of Pease. Amy and her husband, Bernie, are starting their second year supporting the junior and senior youth groups. Amy is also the nursery coordinator as well as the new Households Ministry coordinator for the CRC of Pease.

Amy is married to her husband Bernie, of 9 years, and they have two beautiful children; Griffin will be in 1st grade this year, and Jayanna who is in Terrific 3's at CCS. Bernie is a carpenter and enjoys hunting, 4-wheeling, watching movies and reading. Amy enjoys 4-wheeling, being outside (when the weather is good), decorating, and cooking. Griffin loves being outside and "working" with his dad. Jayanna loves watching the movie "Annie," playing outside, and hanging out with her big brother. 

Amy says this about CCS, "We feel incredibly blessed to be able to send our children to CCS. The combination of academic excellence, teachers, students, administration, parents, and most importantly, Christian foundation make this school strong. The Lord has been faithful for many years and we believe He will continue to be for many years to come."

 

 

 

 

 

Jeannie Byker - CCS School Board Member

Jeannie graduated from Milaca High School in 2001. She went post secondary her senior year to Cambridge Community College, where she graduated with an AAS Degree and a Child Development Degree. She then decided to attend Regency Beauty Institute to become a cosmetologist and graduated in 2003.

As Jeannie attended Cambridge Community College she worked with children in a preschool at two locations for several years before pursuing a career as a cosmetologist. She has been a cosmetologist for 8 years, and opened her own salon, Jeannie’s Serenity Salon in 2008.

Jeannie and her family attend the Christian Reformed Church of Pease.  Jeannie and her husband, Byron, are in their7th year helping out with the senior high youth group, and in their second year being Youth Group Coordinators for 6th grade – 12th grade. Jeannie also is a nursery leader and helps out with Vacation Bible School.

Jeannie and Byron have two daughters, Isabel who is 6 years old and in First Grade this year at CCS. Saige is 3 years old and enrolled in the Terrific 3's at CCS.  She is so very excited to go to school just like her sister. Byron works as a teacher in the Automotive Department, for St. Cloud Technical and Community College and loving every day of it. As a family they enjoy spending time together taking walks, gardening, playing outside, riding bike and camping.

 

Kim (Koppendrayer) Erickson - CCS Board Member

Kim is a PROUD Alumni of Community Christian School...Class of 1985!  She has been married to Lance Erickson for almost 17 years, and they have two daughters, Grace is 9 and in 4th Grade at CCS, Lydia is in 2nd Grade.  They feel very privileged to be able to send their children to CCS and are very confident that they are getting an excellent education.

 

After Kim graduated from CCS, she attended Princeton High School for 9th and part of 10th grade, and then moved with her family to the country of Indonesia.  She attended Central Java Inter-Mission School (now Mountainview Christian School) until she graduated in 1989.  She then went to Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI for 2 1/2 years, but ultimately went on to Technical College where she received her X-Ray Operators license.  She has worked for Fairview Hospital and Clinics for 16 years, 10 of those being in the Radiology Department.

 

Lance and Kim live near Long Siding. They attend Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Princeton, which is the church community in which she grew up. 

 

Kim adds: “I am very excited about the opportunity to serve on the School Board and further my knowledge of the internal workings of CCS as well as everything that it has to offer now and the potential it has for the future!”

 

 Dan Fradette - CCS Board Vice-President

Dan Fradette is a 1994 graduate from Milaca High School.  He graduated from St. Cloud State University in 1999 with a B.S. in mass communications, with a minor in sales and marketing. 

Dan and his wife, Melissa, have two children.  Lilly is currently in 2nd Grade and Owen is in the Terrific 3's at CCS. Dan is the assistant manager at Windstream Communications and is based out of Big Lake. Melissa is a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at thye ST. Cloud HOstpiatl and is currently pursuing her graduate degree.   Melissa also volunteers as the CCS "School nurse."  The Fradette family worships at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Milaca, where he served for two years as a member of its parish council.
